“Ensamble Cultural”  welcomes you to the contemporary art urban show  in the streets of Córdoba”

A colourful party full of strength and expression which fundamental goal is: to bring contemporary art closer to the public.

Work of 30 Argentinean artists will be shown here on the square “del fundador” to be included in our daily life.

A real art intervention of cultural and architectural heritage with a fresh outlook of today’s artistic expressions which you will enjoy in a different way!

The work you will see is of LIFESTYLE first contemporary art contest called in May 2011, organized by LIFESTYLE real estate and “Ensamble Cultural” and sponsored by the Fundación Rosalía Soneira.

The goal of the contest was to pay tribute to five great contemporary art masters who have broken with conventional structures:

MARK ROTHKO

JACKSON POLLOCK

HUNDERTWASSER

XUL SOLAR

ERNESTO SONEIRA.

The idea was for the contestants to paint and draw work inspired by these masters with either the rigidity of the geometrical proposal of Soneira, the ludic way Hunderwasser denied straight lines, the mysterious nature of Xul Solar, the ritual and colorful dance of Pollock and the colorful embrace of Rothko.

Almost a hundred artists from all over the country applied to be part of this contest. Today we are exhibiting the work and sketches of 30 artists at the historical center of Cabildo in Herbert Diehl‘s room.

We invite you to visit the urban exhibition and hope you enjoy it.

At the end of the show, vote the piece you like the most.

In a few days the work with the most vote will receive the people’s choice award (lifestyle real estate will give 10 000 pesos to the awarded artist.
